Overview

About This Policy

This privacy policy describes how the Law Offices of Scott L. Levine, LLC (the "firm") collects, uses, and protects information submitted through pghdivorce.com (the "site"). This policy applies only to information collected by the site and does not apply to information collected by third-party services that the site may link to.

Information Collected

What the Site Collects

The site collects two categories of information.

Information you provide directly. When you submit the contact form on the site, you provide your name, email address, phone number, and the description of your matter that you choose to share. You are not required to share any information you do not wish to share. The contact form is hosted by Netlify, the platform on which this site runs; form submissions are transmitted directly to the firm.

Standard server logs. Like virtually all websites, the site's hosting infrastructure may log routine technical information about visits — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and access timestamps. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic analysis. The firm does not use this technical data to identify individual visitors and does not attempt to link it to other personal information.

The site does not use cookies for tracking, does not run third-party advertising, and does not deploy analytics platforms that aggregate personally identifiable information for marketing purposes.

How Information Is Used

What the Firm Does with Submitted Information

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to the inquiry. If your inquiry leads to a consultation, the information becomes part of the firm's intake records. If your inquiry does not lead to a consultation, the information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary and is not shared with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

The firm does not sell, rent, or trade information collected through the site. The firm does not share your information with third parties except as required by law, court order, or in connection with services you have specifically authorized.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting the Form Does Not Retain the Firm

Submitting information through the contact form, sending an email to the firm, or calling the firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only after a written engagement agreement has been signed by both you and the firm. Until that engagement is in place, no information you share is protected by attorney-client privilege.

For this reason, you should not include privileged, confidential, or highly sensitive details in an initial inquiry. A general description of your situation is enough to determine whether the firm can help and to schedule a fuller conversation.

Confidentiality of Engaged Clients

Information from Existing Clients

Once you become a client of the firm, all communications and information shared in the course of representation are subject to the full protections of attorney-client privilege and the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct. The firm maintains the strictest confidentiality regarding client information and matters.

Third-Party Links

Links to External Sites

The site contains links to third-party websites — including Pennsylvania court resources, government agencies, professional organizations, and review platforms. The firm makes no representations about the privacy practices, content, or accuracy of those external sites. When you follow a link to an external site, this privacy policy no longer applies; you are subject to the privacy policy of that site.

Security

How Information Is Protected

The site is served over HTTPS encryption. Form submissions are transmitted securely. The firm takes commercially reasonable measures to protect information in its possession against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and the firm cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

Updates and Revisions

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
